Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-07
This policy explains what data Croft & Hugh Digital LTD ("we", "us") collects when you use betcalc365.com, why we collect it, and your rights under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
Croft & Hugh Digital LTD is registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17207269). Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Contact: Hello@crofthughdigital.co.uk.
2. What we collect
- Local browser storage — your theme preference (light/dark) and any bets you save in the calculator. This data lives on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.
- Anonymous server-side analytics — aggregate page views and device type, used to understand which calculators are most useful. We do not collect personal data through analytics.
- Affiliate referral identifiers — when you click an outbound partner link, the partner may receive a referral identifier so we can be credited for the referral. We do not see who you are or what you do on the partner's site.
We do not collect your name, email address, postal address, payment information, IP address (beyond standard server logs), or precise location.
3. Lawful basis for processing
- Local browser storage: legitimate interest in providing the calculator features
- Analytics: your consent, given via the cookie banner when you first visit
- Server logs: legitimate interest in operating a secure service
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of strictly-necessary local storage entries to remember your theme preference and saved bets. Anything beyond strictly-necessary requires your consent — see our Cookie Policy for the full breakdown.
5. Third parties we share data with
- Hosting / CDN provider — receives standard server logs (IP address, user agent) for the purpose of serving the site
- Analytics provider — receives anonymised page-view data only when you have given consent
- Affiliate networks — receive a referral identifier only when you click an outbound partner link, and do not receive your personal details from us
We do not sell, rent, or share your data for marketing purposes. We do not transfer personal data outside the UK / EEA to recipients without an adequate-protection mechanism.
6. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — ask us to delete data we no longer need
- Restriction — ask us to pause processing while a dispute is resolved
- Portability — receive your data in a commonly used machine-readable format
- Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing
To exercise any of these rights, email Hello@crofthughdigital.co.uk. We aim to respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
7. Data retention
- Local storage (theme, saved bets): until you clear your browser
- Analytics: 14 months, then deleted
- Server logs: 90 days
8. Children
The site is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you become aware that a minor has used the site, please email Hello@crofthughdigital.co.uk and we'll delete any data we may hold.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 14 days. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
